Cosmo buffet in Liffey Valley welcomed me to a meal. From the moment I came in the door, the team made sure that myself and my guest were comfortable from the beginning. A few glances around the restaurant showed the staff attentively checking in with other diners regularly.
The food had more offerings than a typical buffet – with an Indian section, a ramen section, and a tasty range of sushi. I also noticed that the food was not greasy and that there were many lighter ramen options as well as heavier mac and cheese and English carvery options.
A wide range of people were present when I was there – with families, solo diners, and couples enjoying their food. Something I particularly enjoyed was the view of the entire Liffey Valley complex – we were seated at a glass wall which made the room full of light.
Something that could have been improved upon was the heat of the food. Another note to add, is that while Cosmo has a wider range and fresher food than the majority of buffets I have tried, it also has a higher price point that most other buffet restaurants that I’ve encountered.
To bring it back to the food, there was a selection of cook to order meats available which were delicious. My guest was vegetarian and also found that there was an abundance of different foods. For dessert, we had multiple options which we found to be tasty.
By the time I had my fifth plate of food, I was immensely satisfied by Cosmo buffet. I would be happy to recommend this restaurant to anyone. Another point in its favour, is the restaurant is wheelchair accessible.
Do not leave Cosmo without seeing their robot waiter – this was an object of ceaseless fascination for me.
