Trinity Arts Festival (TAF) is back and better than ever! TAF is a weeklong event in College that celebrates art in all of its forms. Why not come along and marvel at the artistic talents that the students of Trinity have to offer? A full list of TAF events this week can be found on their Facebook page. Also on campus this week, An Cumann Gaelach and Trinity College Dublin Students’ Union (TCDSU), in co-operation with Bliain na Gaeilge, are presenting Éigse na Tríonóide 2018. Starting on Monday, there will be a jam-packed week of events celebrating Irish language, culture and heritage. Of course, TAF and Eigse aren’t the only things going on in college this week. Here are just a few of the other cool things the week has to offer:

Monday

Learn to knit with TAF and the Knitting Society at 2pm in the Hist Conversation room of the Graduates Memorial Building (GMB). No matter your knitting skill level, come along and learn to make headbands, mittens, bags, blankets, dolls or whatever else your heart desires. And, most importantly, tea and biscuits will be provided.

Trinity Global Development Society and Trinity Environmental Society have teamed up to bring you a screening of the must-see documentary Chasing Coral, accompanied by some free pizza!! At 5pm in Room 3 of the Atrium, Chasing Coral will tell the tale of a team of divers, photographers and scientists as they set out on an ocean adventure to discover why the reefs are disappearing and to reveal the underwater mystery to the world.
