On the 11th of October, 28 members of the Dublin University Sailing Club (DUSC) competed in the Irish University Team Racing Northerns in Rathmullan, Co. Donegal, for the Irish University Sailing Association (IUSA). DUSC had four teams in the gold fleet, who came in 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 6th place, respectively. The Trinity 1s team narrowly edged out the Trinity 2s in the semi-finals, clinching 1st place.

This major success allowed DUSC to qualify a fifth team for the next event, which makes DUSC now the largest competitive fleet in the IUSA.

More recently, on October 17th, DUSC also competed at Schull Harbour over three days with 19 total teams in the Irish Racing Team Association (ITRA) National Championship. Trinity sent three teams, representing the most college teams at the championship. Trinity came 3rd, 7th, and 9th respectively. With the first and second place spots achieved by the Baltimore Sailing Club and the George Jesters, Trinity in third place achieved the best result of any college team.
