DULAFC defeats TUS Midlands 3-2 at College Park

On October 9th, Trinity Women’s Soccer defeated TUS Midlands Women’s Soccer 3-2 in a league match in College Park.

On October 9th, Dublin University Women’s AFC (DULAFC), also known as Trinity Women’s Soccer, won their League match in College Park against Technological University of the Shannon Midlands Midwest Women’s Soccer (TUS Midlands) 3-2. 

TUS Midlands scored 9 minutes into the first half of the match. Later in the first half, Ellie Browne of DULAFC scored, assisted by Sophie Miranda. In the second half, Jasmijn Uludag scored a header from a corner sent in by Captain Caoilinn Durkin. Browne scored a second goal, assisted by Caoilinn Durkin, clinching the 3-2 win over TUS Midlands. Goalkeeper Lara Tate made several key saves, assisted by “a composed back line and organised midfield”, according to Durkin.

Trinity Women’s Soccer were Division 1 National Champions in 2023/24, and Sport Team of the Year the same year.
