Trinity Women’s Soccer defeats UCD 3-2 in College Park

On October 22nd, Trinity Women’s Soccer defeated UCD 3-2 in College Park.

Trinity Women’s Soccer won their match on October 22nd against UCD in College Park on Trinity Campus, defeating UCD 3-2. 

UCD put up the first goal, which was responded to by Emilie Slyne, Maddy McKinley, and Caoilinn Durkin, securing a 3-1 lead. While UCD managed to score again in the second half, Trinity was able to maintain their lead and secure the victory. Centre backs Ella Eskola and Laura Steiger held down the backline calmly, while full backs Leah O’Hagan and Lauren Sarrat made key last effort tackles in the second half to maintain the 3-2 lead. 

Trinity Women’s Soccer now has a record of 2-1, after beating UCD and TUS Midlands, losing only to Maynooth.
