Forbes has released a list of the 15 top international colleges for US students, which includes Trinity. Other colleges on the list include the University of Cambridge in the UK and McGill University in Canada.
Last year, the University Times found that 71 per cent of Americans who applied to Trinity in 2024/25 were accepted. While the pool of applicants is narrowed down based on the Specialised Admissions Test (SAT) and Grade Point Average thresholds, it is still clear that Trinity welcomes Americans.
The Forbes article described Trinity’s notable alumni and listed Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary, former President Mary Robinson, and writers Oscar Wilde and Samuel Beckett.
