The College Historical Society (Hist) will be hosting Hunter Biden next week on Tuesday, November 10th, and giving him the Gold Medal for Outstanding Contribution to Public Discourse.
The event will be held in the GMB. On Instagram, the Hist said, “To a society like the Hist, Biden’s recent advocacy on the state of American politics and media as well as for matters of addiction and recovery make him a commendable figure.”
The event is only open to Hist members and requires members to reserve tickets. Ticket-holders will not be able to enter after 2:45pm, and must present a valid government-issued photo ID. Bags, backpacks, and luggage will not be permitted, and there will be no food or drink allowed. Students will also not be allowed to bring in large cameras or professional recording equipment. Banners, placards and flags will not be allowed either, and all attendees will be screened before being admitted. Attendees will also not be able to return to the room if they leave.
The Hist is recommending that attendees start queuing at 2:15pm.
