Trinity is set to play host to Dublin’s first ever yoga and vegan festival tomorrow, with hundreds expected to attend the sold-out event.

The event, which will take place in the Trinity Sports Centre, promises yoga and meditation sessions, food stalls, henna body art, massages and talks on mental health. On Facebook, the organisers said: “Imagine, what positive vibes we will create together!”

Trinity’s own Vegan Society recently gained Central Societies Committee (CSC) approval, with promises of more vegan events on campus next year.

This isn’t the first time Trinity has been used by an external organisation in recent weeks. Last weekend, thousands of women used the Sports Centre as the registration point for the VHI Mini Marathon. Tomorrow’s event, however, will be much more relaxed, promising attendees chilled out vibes and a calm atmosphere.

On Facebook, the organisers said: “This festival celebrates two ideas that are changing the world for better – Yoga and Veganism.”
